Pierre Dessureault
Directeur Général

Pierre Dessureault holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) as well as a Licensed Real Estate Broker certificate. Before founding Optima, he took his post as Manager of Real Estate and Development at the CIBC Bank. He proved a savvy executive, directing several major projects for the CIBC, one of which concerned a large-scale restructuring of the Financial Consulting Centre’s network platform.

In 1998, he created Optima along with Éric Trépanier. Their objective consisted in applying their experience and market intelligence to provide future clients and partners with efficient, effective marketing services and solutions intimately in tune with their market realities, meeting their daily requirements and allowing them to better meet corporate challenges as they developed.


From its initial mandate to the present, Optima went through exponential growth, increasing its head count from 2 to 20 employees and offering innovative solutions and an expertise recognized as belonging to the elite of the geomarketing field. Among his major distinctions, Mr. Dessureault was awarded, along with his associate Éric Trépanier, the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for 2002.
